Hi! Wasn’t sure whether to ask this here or on the old guidelines post, sorry, but I was wondering why Creator's Choice of Fandom isn’t allowed as a nomination? Nominated it before realizing it’s mentioned in the 2024 guidelines — no worries if it needs to be rejected, but I love reading my favorite AUs fandom-blind and would be interested in requesting it :)

CCOF isn't allowed in this event largely because of the event style of AU5k and is the same reason the event doesn't allow selecting "any" when it comes to ships or freeforms in either requests or offers - the event has a high minimum (which is a significant investment on both the side of the creator and of the recipient), so being specific with requests and offers helps to ensure at least somewhat that there's mutual understanding and alignment between people creating and requesting things in good faith! I am generally more open to CCOF in events that I run with shorter minimums and shorter runtimes, but this rule is unlikely to change for this event.
