Saito's just such a compelling character. I love how he sits so strangely on a moral scale. A business tycoon, but wanting to "break a monopoly" rather than simply take out the competition. Listens to the snitch, then offers him up first to Cobb, then to Cobol. I'd love to see fic that looks at his wobbly moral line, how far he'd go to accomplish goals, or else what is too far, or how he came to be the way he is. Would SUPER love to see him being Part of the Team, and I have a soft spot for his canon interactions with Eames. Saito/Eames or Saito & Eames is not necessary, but I'd be happy to see it : ) I'm also very interested in his life outside the film: his company, his love life, his childhood, etc.

Big swashbuckling romantic adventures with some of the most beautiful people with bananas chemistry... Can't really go wrong with these ingredients! Whether you write a getting together fic, or Evy/Rick & Ardeth learning to be Evy/Rick/Ardeth, or youre exploring it as an established relationship, I'll be happy so long as all three are mutally obsessed with each other!

They just have such an excellent dynamic, which is silly bc I think it's best explained by Matt Damon trying to defend Danny to the crew but it's Rusty everyone goes to for help. The scene in O12 where they watch TV and drink wine together? Flawless. Rusty picking up Danny from jail? Hell yeah. They're casual but also ride or die in way I find so compelling, bc my usual ship dynamic is Mutually Obsessed And Completely Abnormal About It, but these two are so... chill. They trust each other even if they don't always agree with each other (both making mistakes over a girl smh) and they back each other's plays. Let me be cringe for a moment but they are 100% moirails with pails.

Note on the Wives: If choosing a setting AU, feel free to have the boys never get with the girls to begin with. If diverting canon at a point after either of them would have gotten with the girls, please don't pretend they don't exist or have them break up for contrived reasons. You can gloss over or imply it or whatever, but I'd prefer the girls be in the know about Rusty/Danny and there's trust and love involved in the arrangement :o)

Please sir can I have some werewolves? Or soulmates, especially soulmates where there are multiple soulmates and platonic soulmates are a thing? I am very easy with shipping in this 'verse (Alan/Alice, Tom/Barbara, Tom/Darling, Fictional Alex Casey/Fictional Ilmo Koskela, Saga/David, whatever else you want to do!), but what I really love is the intense platonic relationships there are; the fact that love is the heart of this series but romantic is only one version.
There's so much bad stuff that happens. Let them marinate in that trauma. Let them remember loops where things go Really Bad.
Ilmo forcing everyone to continue the loop until they get one where Jaakko doesn't die. (Who died in other loops?)
Let them be fuzzy wolves while they go through all this trauma!

I adore the messed-up dynamic between the two - Tenma's the father figure, but Johan's the one trying to mold him into something. So I'm very much into the whole mental manipulation/corruption aspect of their relationship, as well as really creepy caretaking aspects and Johan's penchant for dressing up like his sister. Just great times with the two of them and I'd love anything that goes into Johan just messing with Tenma, even if he knows it's not going to get Tenma to break (but maybe he'll demonstrate just how flexible he is in other areas).

So I went down the rabbit hole on this one recently and wow, I'm so glad I did because this kind of dynamic is what I love! I adore the whole “we're the only two people who can understand each other but we're destined to be on opposite sides” paired with “okay, screw that, there's nothing in the rules that says we can't meet somewhere in the middle and spend the rest of our lives as equals.” And while I did enjoy the anime, there's so much in the manga that wasn't adapted in (please, I want another season so I can see their time in New York, because wow, that was tailor made for fanfic). I love that William is so brilliant when it comes to everything except realizing that his boyfriend would actually like for him to live, thank you, and that Sherlock decided to just speed-run all the tropes for their relationship (hurt/comfort, domestic fic, enemies to lovers, murder husbands, etc.) So I would love more with the two of them (and their very pretty hair, because damn, Sherlock, those are some luscious post-time skip locks you got going on).

Look, this pairing had me at the "Brooks Brothers" scene where Shiwan Khan is just totally fanboying and being the most jovial villain, and Cranston has that expression of someone that kind of wishes he didn't give up that whole murder thing because oh my god, why won't he shut up. And then there's knives and bullets and mind-fucking and somewhere along the way, I started shipping them in an universe where Khan gets to fanboy a little bit more. Maybe it's a pre-canon one where Khan and "Ying Ko" get to take over the world. Maybe it's one where Khan wins, but decides to keep his enemy alive because what fun is world domination if there's no one to show off in front of. It could even be post-canon where Khan shows up and is totally on the side of good now, just ignore those randomly stabbed criminals, please.

I would love any kind of alternate/divergent au time travel mechanics: maybe the ring yeets Jonathan straight back in time instead of to Dr Ábray's lab? Maybe people can change things in history? Maybe more than one person can time travel with the ring? Maybe there's time travel to other time periods also that can be managed without all Ábray's stuff? (I would love Jonathan getting to meet his great-grandfather, or some sort of time travel rescue for Zsigmond, or people meeting Gárdonyi Géza, or anything else you come up with!). Maybe the ring doesn't stop working when the lab blows up, or anything- I just love time travel and would love more of it! I'd also love it if László was let in on the secret, too, or even got to time travel also.
I love László in general, how grouchy he is initially and how that turns to interest in the increasingly weird and niche questions Jonathan's always interrupting his baths with. I can't imagine he'd be too quick to believe in the time travel angle, but I'd love to see him have to deal with it :D I am a big fan of characters having to deal with Situations and Jonathan is nothing if not a walking Situation. I'm also super interested in how Jonathan's apparently wildly impulsive approach to life and relationships would work out with an older man, especially given the setting.
I'm completely fine with a fic that doesn't involve any time travel in the fic itself and just focuses on Jonathan/László, but I would like the time travel to still be/have been real in the setting (post-canon fic compliant with the ending is totally ok even if time travel is no longer possible, etc).
I do really like Juli, and any way you'd like to handle her and Jonathan's relationship is fine: whether it didn't happen, or she and Jonathan break up, or it's an open relationship, or even a threesome, is all fine.

Vlad 2003 is a very strange movie and I would like some of that weird cursed necklace, ghost wolf, sex reincarnation time travel vampire energy to just kinda... splash over onto the historical Vlad that Mircea thought he was going to be getting out of his whole trek. I have no preference at all for how Mircea and 1979!Vlad end up in the same place and time: Vlad is summoned to the future? Mircea ends up reincarnated in the past? Secret third option? All wonderful. I'm very fond of both 'fish out of water historical character travels to the future' and 'character goes to the past to try to change history' <3
Ideas I have had about this crossover: Maybe Mircea looks (or is?) like Vlad's brother Mircea. Maybe Mircea's always been a little too into Vlad history. Maybe this isn't the first time 1979 Vlad's been messed with by 2003!Vlad's cursed belongings. Maybe 1979-Vlad-Tepes was an actual movie in 2003 timeline and time traveling Mircea initially thinks he's hallucinating a movie set/actor.
I'm also all in for a Ministry of Time AU where Mircea is a bridge who gets far too involved (anything vaguely inspired by it is fine, government-controlled time-travel etc, doesn't need to be a direct map!) And of course nothing has ever gone or could ever go wrong with transmigration system time travel/universe-hopping...right? :]

re: relationship - I am totally fine with &, /, or ambiguous/hard to define relationship between them! I'm just incredibly fond of them both as characters - Gyula's mouthiness, his weird and wide variety of skills, his stubbornness!! Mátyás's cleverness, his control, his hunger to learn more and how he understands more than Károly thinks!! - and want more of them, especially interacting.
I'm super fond of any kind of AU dealing with other sorts of time travel: maybe it's to years earlier, or maybe Gyula travels alone, or maybe there's a method to return after all, or maybe Mátyás accidentally(?) comes forward in time to the 60s with them, or maybe it's a time traveler's wife type situation where Gyula just comes unhooked in time and is constantly pinging back to the 1400s?
I love the way Mátyás handles Károly around time travel in canon, and I'd love to see something like that with Gyula also - whether the whole group's there or Gyula traveled alone. Gyula alone without Károly to hold him back on trying to run the Connecticut Yankee route + younger Mátyás with more time/political maneuvering space sounds like a horrible, wonderful combination. I also very much love fish-out-of-water historical character in the future things! Basically- any way you want to mess with the time travel in this story, I'll love it!

I'm hungry for an AU where things go well for Matthias (and Vlad, too, maybe?) however that might turn out to happen! (Pre-good-ending abuse, whump, h/c and pain, etc very welcome!) Does Vlad slip him some blood that lets him keep control of his mind long enough to shake Mihaly's control? Maybe there's some kind of magical macguffin that does it? Or maybe Matthias has a secret superpower/magic/whatever (of any kind that seems interesting!) that manifests under stress and he saves himself? I am always a sucker for time-travel fix it, no matter who's doing the time travel and how far back they're fixing it to and from. If you'd like to involve OCs or historical characters from the time period who don't appear in this series I'm always into that!
I love the twisted power dynamics going on in this threesome: how Matthias should have all the power here, as King, but as the only non-vampire and under constant control he has nothing at all, not even himself, while Mihaly basically uses him as just a tool in his vampire dominance struggle with Vlad. I'm also very interested in how Mihaly is very much a more subtle xanatos gambit style planner in the modern era setting of these books than he is generally regarded to have been in irl history - would love to see more of whether that's just how he is in this series, or whether he learned it over a few hundred years.
And also of course I love the vampirism :D the vampire blood healing and protecting, the explicitly erotic bites, the mind control, the other powers that can come with it.

In terms of narrative I’m pretty easy to please, and any rating and/or combination of gender identities and bodies is cool with me. That said, I do have a few DNWs: extreme or explicit violence and torture, noncon (unless specified for the fandom), horror, and A/B/O.
Things I love (but in no way require) in fic: found family, sex that is urgent, angry, awkward, or familiar and full of laughter (or all of the above), complicated or fucked up power dynamics (please never think anything in this department will be Too Much), quiet devotion, humor, bittersweet endings, day in the life snapshots, tragically stoic characters who only one other person understands, and damaged people who are trying, whether it's just to do as little harm as possible, or to heal themselves, even a little (😭😭😭😭😭😭).
