what if instead of getting executed laszlo got married off to vlad. honestly. the TIMELINES.
This Tumblr post is absolutely everything to me, and I can't stop thinking of like the implications of a similar Marriage Disinheritance Function AU where opposing factions try to wreck the Hunyadi power base by getting Laszlo force-wifed off to Wallachia as punishment for treason (or "treason") instead of just straight up killed. Would forced marriage be enough of a humiliation to make Mihaly and Erszebet revolt so Matthias still ends up king? What's Vlad's take on all of this? I imagine he'd still feel perfectly free to have illegitimate heirs... but if he was married to Laszlo and Matthias did become king, how would that change things between Hungary and Wallachia? Also, very awkward for Laszlo to end up married to someone who you said you thought had no intention of being loyal to the crown... a crown which just betrayed you. Ahh the politics could be so interesting!!

Matthias/Vlad: just obsessed with them honestly. Any kind of stranding would be great. Send them to isekai world, anything. Bodyswap would be politically hilarious. Time loop: amazing, whether around an actual (thus averted) death or at any other point. Absolutely any point is welcome - prison era, or maybe an AU where their meeting went differently, or really anything else, all canon divergence stuff is welcome to make one of the tags work or work more interestingly!

The extra large age gap caused by Sileanu!Vlad being so much older than he should be is infuriatingly hot and the moment when he got that letter from Matthias telling him to come swear fealty was like an epiphany aha. I'd also love to see more of what Vlad's court looks like in BDSM land! Were Vlad and Radu raised as doms so they could go back and be voivode, and is that in or against their natures?
